Use of various incense products

Guide to using different incense products

Incense can be used in many different ways depending on the type of product you choose. Here are some simple steps to use different incense products effectively and safely:

Incense sticks

  • Place the incense stick in a suitable holder that will catch ash and provide stability.
  • Light the tip of the stick with a match or lighter and let it burn for a few seconds.
  • Gently blow out the flame so that the stick glows and emits smoke.
  • Place the holder on a fireproof surface and enjoy the scent.

Incense sticks

  • Place the cone in a holder designed for cones, preferably with a small bowl to collect the ash.
  • Light the top of the cone and let it burn for a few seconds.
  • Gently blow out the flame so that the cone begins to glow.
  • Let it burn down on its own while emitting fragrant smoke.

Charcoal for incense

  • Use a fireproof bowl or holder and fill it with a layer of sand or gravel for extra safety.
  • Light the charcoal disc with a lighter or match until it starts to glow and crackle.
  • Place the desired incense, such as resin, herbs, or wood chips, on top of the glowing coals.
  • Enjoy the aromatic smoke, and make sure to ventilate the room regularly.

Incense stick form

  • Place the stick on a heat-resistant surface or holder.
  • Light the end until it starts to glow.
  • Place the stick so that the smoke can spread freely in the room.

Wood for incense (e.g. Palo Santo)

  • Light one end of the piece of wood and let it burn for about 30 seconds.
  • Blow out the flame and let the smoke disperse.
  • Move the piece of wood around the room or place it in a holder for a slow burn.

Remember to always follow safety advice to create a safe and relaxing atmosphere with your incense products.
